Arrowhead Cross Country Coaches Clinic

Arrowhead will be hosting their 8th annual cross country coaches clinic on Wed., Aug. 5 at Arrowhead HS. The clinic will run from 4:00 - 9:00 at the south campus building of Arrowhead - enter door D and go down the long hallway to the library classroom. (Note: this is a different building than past years)

Clinic Speakers will include:

Doug DeBroux, Oregon HS – Doug has been the head cross country coach at Oregon since the 1980’s. He has been a state championship coach (’88) as well as coaching many outstanding individual boys and girls in both CC and track.

Les Paul, Cedar Grove/Belgium HS – Les coached the CG/B girls team to the state runner-up in ’13 as well as coaching his daughter to the individual state championship in ’06.

Paul Brown, Oshkosh Lourdes HS – Paul competed on the state championship West Allis Hale team in ’00 and continued his running success as an all-American runner at UW Oshkosh. Paul has coached the Lourdes girls’ team to the last two state championships.

Molly Seidel, ULS HS and the University of Notre Dame – Molly was the four time state cross country champion while at ULS and set the all-time state record for 4K. She was the national HS champion and Gatorade runner of the year in ’11. Last fall Molly was an all-American for Notre Dame and was the NCAA national champion in the 10K this track season.

WCCCA Meeting - There will be a meeting conducted by association president Matt Polzin. Topics on this season will be discussed.
